Once again this is spring’s hottest hue, so get ahead of the fash pack and see my guide on how to wear pink…
My Celine coat (see the full look here) is what pink dreams are made of and instead of making it super girly Phoebe Philo gave it an edge with an oversized masculine shape. Easy to throw over anything, this coat has been a worthy investment and I have found some pretty alternatives at Zara, boohoo.com and Burberry.
Mix It Up
A pattern on a pink skirt, trainers or dress adds something extra to the look and thats the case of this Peter Pilotto shirt (full look here). Also on my radar these Nike trainers and Mary Katrantzou blouse.
Sometimes Minimal is Best
Want to keep it simple? Stay away from patterns and look out for basic shapes and structured fabrics like these Topshop culottes (click for the full look) or Ralph Lauren skirt, easy to style and great for work too! Check out these trousers from River Island and skirt from Tibi.
Just a Touch
Pink not your thing? No worries, a handbag or shoe will do! I love my Prada tote which I can wear with so many things in my wardrobe like a Topshop tartan coat, Stella McCartney oversized jumper or even my Zara khaki jacket (click on brands for the looks). This clutch from ASOS is a great option and I’m in love with this Saint Laurent bag.
And for the shoes? My Christian Louboutin’s (full look here) are a great example and my other picks include these Topshop mules, Valentino boots (on sale!), LK. Bennett kitten heels, Saint Laurent pumps and Opening Ceremony sneakers.
