Three SS18 Trends I Can’t Wait To Wear

Which of the three SS18 trends are on your wish list?

Fashion month is over and I couldn’t be happier. Although I didn’t attend any shows this season due to a human being growing inside my belly, I remained plugged in to all the runways and events in order to create content on another website I work on. It’s rather exhausting but on a positive note, I get to share with you the top three SS18 trends that you can start adding to your shopping lists.

PFW: How To Wear Shorts

First up are shorts. That’s right, childhood favourites have been given a serious doze of style and Saint Laurent was one of my favourites by pairing the leather boxy shapes with plunge neckline blousons, while Louis Vuitton mixed sporty satin shorts with baroque tail coats and Stranger Things T-shirt.

Not far behind are all kinds of transparent pieces. From perplex boots at Chanel to Emilia Wickstead’s feminine silhouettes. The difference next season is that it’s not as risqué leaving nothing to imagination, but elegant and wearable.

The beauty of living in Dubai is that white clothing are always appropriate and head to toe white dominated at Simone Rocha and Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini with a gorgeous finale as a gang of models walked out in the prettiest LWD’s you could wish for.

If you want to invest in a special designer piece then I’d recommend taking a closer look at Zimmerman, Louis Vuitton, Victoria Beckham, Roksanda, Chloe and Alberta Ferretti.

  1. I love your selections. Louis Vuitton’s collection was amazing! I loved that one. I’m always a fan of Zimmermann and Victoria Beckham. They always have so many beautiful pieces I want to add to my closet.

A baby is a good reason to miss fashion month, but hopefully I’ll run you in a year or two 🙂 That would be so nice. Have a wonderful week.
