What to do when you get the opposite of pregnancy glow…
[dropcap]We’ve[/dropcap] all heard of the magical pregnancy glow but not all of us get to enjoy it – me included.
I can’t complain as I’ve had none of horrors of morning sickness, pain or weird cravings though I did get a few leg cramps in the night which is one of the worst feelings ever. If they persist then make sure tell your doctor and she’ll probably add extra magnesium to your vitamin intake. My skin has no faired so well and I’ve been getting breakouts as though I’m 16 again! It took a few weeks of trial and error (and giving up chocolate digestives) to narrow down the skincare products that tackle this problem the most:
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse Balm – I have been using this balm for a couple of years now and there is nothing more gentle, and yet effective at removing dirt and makeup including waterproof eye makeup.
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence – Delicate and adds moisture back after clearing the skin.
Alpha-H Vitamin Profiling Collection (Vitamin C for clarity enhancing) – This set is brilliant for delivering different results for various skin issues and I’ve been using Vitamin C the last week (sometimes on it’s own) to help clear blemishes.
Alpha-H Liquid Gold – The name fits the product! I use it once a week at night without adding moisturizer and wake up feeling like my skin has been soothed.
Espa Purifying Tea Tree Gel – Tea tree is one of the best ingredients to diminish pesky spots and when my skin got really bad I literally added a thin layer before bed as an overnight mask.
Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream – it’s such a luxurious cream and feel amazing to use – like a splash of fresh rose water. Plus, it leaves the skin plump, bright, and break out-free.
