Day 1 & 2

Its so amazing to be back in one of my favourite cities in world, especially with it being October and still 28oC and sunny! Rome is a beautiful place, rich with history, incredible food and unpredictable finds.

We decided to split our 4 night stay between Hotel Hassler Roma and Hotel De Russie starting with the Hassler.

Set on top of the Spanish Steps, it has a beautiful view over the center of Rome and close to all the sights and the shopping! I love the décor with the touch of classic luxury and a contemporary feel.

Our room was really well laid out, with a walk in wardrobe, large bathroom which had a separate jacuzzi bath and shower and some of the best hotel slippers my feet had ever stepped into! Breakfast wasn’t the most exciting but the service was quick, efficient and what I did have was delicious. The hotel also has an amazing restaurant on the 6th floor, Imago, with a spectacular panoramic view and Michelin-star food.
