[dropcap]If [/dropcap]you are heading to London Fashion Week then Molly Goddard should be on the list of shows to try and get tickets to. By the way, if you want to know exactly how you can get tickets to the show – make sure you sign up to my mailing list.
Goddard is a graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins and for a personal who launched her brand three years ago, she has done pretty well. Stocked across the world, including here in Dubai at Boutique 1 in Mall of The Emirates, she is known for her grown up princess tulle and striped knitwear, A-line silhouettes and printed sweaters.
Without physically trying on any of her pieces, you know that they will be fun to wear. They remind you of the good old childhood days when dressing up was a joy rather than a chore. Her previous show was staged in a grand hall with two dining room tables giving a feeling of a sophisticated candlelit dinner and everyone’s eyes were on the balloon sleeve pink dress that opened the show. The collection has a youthful edge but something and adult can pull off with a pair of biker boots and a leather jacket.
For SS18 I expect more grown up fairytale glamour. I always wanted to be a princess when I was little.
