[dropcap]It[/dropcap] might be too soon for our babymoon as I’m only approaching month 5, but I have a good reason for that. You see, I start a new job in a couple of weeks (exciting!) and my 3-month probation period leads us pretty much to maternity leave so realistically this is the only time we can go away before we have a little someone to look after.

We had to dismiss a couple of places due to Zika virus risk which included Singapore, Bali and the Maldives. Australia would’ve been awesome but the flight time and the price was more than we planned while Barcelona is too hot to explore all the sites (I know I know I live in 45oC desert). After some further research we have decided on the Seychelles as we’ve never been, it’s less than a 5-hour flight from Dubai, looks beautifully green, well priced and and has a balance of relaxation and adventure.

I’m the type of person that always overpacks and there are certain essentials that are guaranteed to make it into my suitcase like denim cut off shorts that I can style with a one shoulder top and sandals. For the beach I’ve been loving swimsuits and I also take a few cover ups along with great sunnieshat and straw bag. A nice dresses for dinner are essential and I normally opt for bright heels to get me in a holiday mood.

Can’t wait to share all the pics and make sure to follow along on my Instastories. If anyone of you have ever been, let me know if there’s something in particular we should do. Happy weekend!
