Italian twist on a British tradition…
Over last few years I have developed a deep love for the British afternoon tea, mainly for the traditional sense of occasion it carries from the finger cut sandwiches to the delicious scones with layers (and I mean LAYERS) of clotted cream and jam, finishing with the lovely little desserts and of course a well brewed cup of tea (plus champagne in my case!).
But I’ve never streered from the usual or tried any of the quirky versions on offer so it was a pleasant surprise when the team at Baglioni Hotel presented Sabrina and I with their Italian take on the classic. To me it was a match made in heaven, it had all the perks of the much loved afternoon tea (I have to particularly commend them on their delicious scones!) and the best of the Italian cooking with a special mention to the incredible ciabatta sandwiches.
If you like me and adore Italian cuisine but also love something sweet and very English, you should definitely book one of their lovely tables by the window overlooking the Hyde Park and enjoy cosying up in their comfy chairs with a glass of rosé champagne in hand. After an hour of shooting round Kensington, it was definitely what Sabrina and I needed, pure bliss!
Beautiful photos for amazing moments!!! Have a nice day, kisses (and thank you for your visit),
