Happy Friday lovelies and what an exciting weekend I have planned! Two of the girls I worked with at Harpers Bazaar are coming to Dubai for the first time so we will be doing a bunch of touristy stuff including a trip to the desert. It has gotten significantly hotter over the last few days, so I don’t envy them having to adjust from London’s mere 7oC to our 39oC but I’m sure they’d like a break from the gloomy city.

Before we kick off this weekend I wanted to go back to last week and our trip to Abu Dhabi where we spent the most wonderful afternoon at a lunch hosted by Dee for Dana. For those not familiar, Dana is an Abu Dhabi based fashion blogger who not only has a beautiful style but an amazing personality. She was one of the first bloggers I met when I moved here and has been an incredibly supportive friend.

It was a gorgeous set up on the beach at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Grand Canal with great food, selection of designs from S*auce own range, and of course brilliant company of over 20 bloggers and influencers from the region. It was definitely the best way to meet new people and find out more about the fashion scene in the UAE and I very much look forward to more events like this!

I wore my favourite Self Portrait dress that I have styled on the blog before, but I actually shortened it for my petite height. I added a pair of mid heels, which was not a great idea for the beach setting so the majority of the time I was bare foot. Why not!

Hope you all have a fab weekend and make sure to follow my snapchat SandDblog to see what we get up to! xx
