Happy Monday and how was your weekend? I’ve been preparing for my first ever Milan Fashion Week adventures and will be giving you a sneak peek at what I’m packing later on in the week as well as other exciting news! I have also been closely following LFW and I hope those of you out there have found my style tips and city guide useful.

Texture has been one of the strongest street style trends so far and there has been a particular accent on ruffles. The super feminine style from last season has been given a grown up touch with loose fabrics being swapped for a stiffer material. This style works great in shades like white, black and blue but I love the jacquard floral fabric of this Philosophy dress. The khahki shade gives it a neutral feel making it wearable on it’s own but also great over jean, white shirt and high heels (the new layering!) Choose sandals for a casual look, but if you want something for the evening then sparkly flats like mine are a nice way to jazz up this dress. The bag at Etoile Boutique is from the same label as the blue one from the previous post and once again I’m love with the hand painted detail.

This shoot location has been circulating round Instagram for a while and despite me going to the beach near it several times, I couldn’t bloody find it! But once you do it’s pretty hard to miss is a great spot for a shoot, despite my friends saying the columns look like penises…

Let me know what you think in the comment box below! x

  1. I just love your take on texture and feminine ruffles – this dress is so dreamy and the beautiful pattern on it is making me long for summer and the beach! So excited to hear more about your MFW adventures and I just loved your post about LFW! I hope you do one covering Paris too!
