Tommy Hilfiger AW15 show was everything I hoped for and more! And not only did I get to see the 30th anniversary collection but I also checked out one of Tommy’s favourite places to eat and browsed the sports line at their flagship store…
Its been so great to work with the Tommy Hilfiger gang this week and get a true New York experience by going to one of the city’s food staples which has been around since 1888, Katz Deli. Situated just a five minute walk from our hotel, The Bowery, its a home to some the best sandwiches around and definitely the biggest!
I opted for what I assumed was a simple bologna sarnie but my standard bread bun was covered in about 20 slices if it with a bit of salad. I honestly didn’t think I could ever eat it but my world it was delicious! Kip went for their famous pastrami sandwich (below) which was also enormous but he loved it, its a proper ‘man’ portion.
Afterwards we took a cab to Tommy Hilfiger’s flagship store on 5th Avenue where I was treated to some lovely casual pieces from their new sports collection. There were so many great looks to choose from like this gorgeous monochrome coat and sporty black joggers, but I fell in love with this stripe dress and jumper, its just so Tommy!
I will soon be posting my NYFW round up where I can talk more about the AW15 show but it was incredible and I feel so fortunate to have been there to celebrate the brands 30-year success.
Park Avenue Armory was transformed into a football stadium with a giant screen capturing models wearing a collection that truly represented luxury sportswear. My top picks? The plaid-lined leather poncho worn by model Gigi Hadid (above) and the football-lace platform boots.
I cant wait to be back in September!
