The bermuda shorts are like marmite; you either love them or hate them. Some would argue they are old fashioned and have the most unflattering hemline. Others think they are great for the office and are versatile. To me it’s all about what style you go for and how you wear them. I personally think they shouldn’t be too tight or bright. Neutral tones and slightly casual but equally balanced tailored look works best.

These Zara ones are my favourites, they have a slightly sporty feel but appropriate for work and can be worn with heeled sandals or in this case, poolside sliders. I put them with a sleeveless jacket but they can look just as good with a blouse, a tailored jacket or a logo t-shirt.
