When in doubt, turn to a classic combination with some flare…
Despite all my planning and fashion week preparations, there was always going to be a look that would give me the biggest headache. For my third outfit I wanted to wear a really edgy printed fringed skirt but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t make it work. Now, I always aim to go for colourful styles and rarely wear any monochrome, but sometimes a classic combination is the best solution.
A few weeks back I was browsing online on a hunt for Ellery–like trousers and luckily come across these ones from Revolve. The flare isn’t too extreme making them wearable but fun, while the Storets top (which has seen a lot of love on social media) adds extra drama with the balloon sleeves.
The Celine shoes are one of my favourite purchases from the recent years and the shape of the heel and the chunky look brings a nice edge to the outfits soft silhouette. Finally, for a monochrome look you need a statement bag and this ‘serpenti’ from Bvlgari with the contrast gold piping, snakehead clasp and the snakelike chain handle definitely adds a wow factor.
