Super easy ways to take your winter style into spring
There might be a month of lockdown to go and promises of snow over the next few days, but I have spring on my mind.
For the last four years, spring meant preparing for a scorching hot summer in Dubai where layers are switched out for linen, but with us being back in the UK I can once again enjoy blossom season and a transitional way of dressing.
This means lighter jackets and knitwear, pastel tailoring, floaty dresses and a brighter colour palette. It doesn’t mean you have to go straight in with bold florals and neon tones, but switching out black for warm brown or navy.
The knitted vest can replace your roll neck (especially when worn over a shirt) while the coats can become shorter and you can start re-introduces a leather biker and an elongated blazer.
While winter is for hiding the layers, spring is all about showing them off so play around with textures, prints and cuts and don’t forget accessories.
