Oh the weather outside is frightful, but this jacket is so delightful…
I am really feeling the Christmas vibe at the moment; started prepping presents, ordering Christmas food and getting ready for Harpers Bazaar party on Friday! I am still recovering from my friends wedding on Saturday, which was so beautiful, and I’m incredibly jealous of their one-month honeymoon in Australia! Have any of you ever been? It’s my dream to go but the long haul flight makes me nervous.
For those of us who are not so lucky to spend the holidays somewhere warmer, wrapping up in a cosy jacket is the best way to brighten up a winter day. I have been a huge fan of Shrimps for a long time as they have lifted the faux fur from tacky to a must have. Their coats vary from candy colours to neutrals to prints and they also make great furry accessories like this scarf.
Working in a magazine has its benefits and one of them is definitely press sample sales where you can shop your favourite brand at a fraction of the price, so this sleeveless beauty only cost me £60! But in all honestly I would probably pay full price for it as I think its one of those great timeless pieces that are perfect for mild winters when worn over roll necks or even with a great dress. I have been wearing these silver boots from Topshop obsessively and nearly everyone in our office has a pair as they look good and are incredibly comfortable!
Hope you all have a fab rest of the week and I look forward sharing my last installment of 1 Scarf 6 Ways blog series.
