Think this might be my favourite trend for the heat…
I’m starting to understand what people meant when they were warning me about the Dubai heat. The mere 40oC is still considered okay in comparison to what awaits us in the summer months, but the air is getting thicker and the sea has stopped providing a cool relief, feels more like a bath in there which is just gross!
I’m also getting more clued up on what I wear while still respecting the local customs of not revealing too much, and decided that pyjama dressing is going to be one of my go to’s. Before you think me mad, just remember that feeling when you pull on your slacks or loose fit PJ trousers and now imagine that feeling all day long, I mean what can be better! The trick is to treat it a bit like tailoring, clean lines, neutral tones and good quality fabrics.
I love the Max & Co combo, the lightweight fabric and the flares silhouette of the top works perfectly with the matching straight leg trousers. You can carry on with the bedroom dressing by adding a pair of backless loafers but I wanted to make it work friendly with sparkly heels and a large tote bag from Tod’s.
