Hey everyone and a very happy Monday! I know for some of you in the U.S. it’s bank holiday (lucky!) and for others like me it’s back to work, and man alive has it been a crazy busy day! Feeling like a salmon swimming upstream and not getting anywhere fast but hopefully come middle of tomorrow I can chill out a little.

On top of that NYFW starts this week! I love the fashion month and have bee avidly looking for what to wear and one of my newly discovered brands is Pinghe which is all about luxe craftsmanship, beautiful detail and innovative tailoring. When first approached, I wasn’t yet aware of the label but it has been growing in popularity since 2012. Originally from China, Ping He worked for Alexander McQueen and was head of design at Aftershock before launching her own collection.
I chose to style this top skirt combo as I absolutely loved the shape of the peplum top with leather inserts, button details and the the flirty skirt with laser cut hearts. It is youthful but still glam and I felt so comfortable and elegant in it and decided to add my trusty Jimmy Choo’s, a classic Chanel bag and my mums lady-like jacket. I am super excited for her AW collection that feature beautiful made coats and sophisticated dresses which are perfect for office and dinner dates. I’m still not sure what to pick for fashion week, what do you think? Check out bypinghe.com and let me know!
Have a great start to the week guys and to those heading to NYFW, enjoy! It is so much fun and an amazing experience. Later on this week I’ll be finally sharing the lovely afternoon tea with Julia Lundin of Julia Lundin Blog and celebrating mine turning year! Where does the time go?
Let me know your thoughts on this look in the comment box below! Xx
