She wore green velvet…
Hey everyone and a very happy Christmas week! I’m sure you all have something wonderful planned and a lot of presents to unwrap. I finally got Kip’s gift today, which is a bit last minute even for me, but fingers crossed he loves it. Our festivities will be quiet with just the two of us and the dog, but we are planning to cook for a family of 10 so there will be plenty of leftovers to keep us going till the New Year!
And speaking of NYE and all the holiday cheer, I thought it would be apt to style a party outfit but not the usual sparkly dress number some people would go for (just to be clear I love sparkle, you should see the top I’m wearing today!) Suiting up is my new favourite way to celebrate during the colder months as it warm and stylish. I was on the H&M website for a good two hours waiting to buy these Balmain trousers and I’m so glad I did as I absolutely love their wide fit and embroidered detail. I’d usually style them with sneakers and a T-shirt for a dressed down tailored vibe, or just throw on a roll neck and heeled boots, but for this outfit I wanted to keep it all smooth velvet. This Zara jacket was a great find and it can also work with a floral blouse and jeans. Underneath I wore a beaded crop top and added a pair of block heels and a clutch bag. Simple, polished and festive!
Hope you all have a great run up to Christmas and I’ll be posting on Saturday this week rather then Friday where I’ll share with you all my spoils. Happy holidays! xxx
