Blogging in Dubai, What I’ve Learnt
Dubai may appear limited in insta-worthy locations but the below is only a small selection, I’m yet to check out the bridge over the Water Canal, wonder through the Green Planet, snack in the cutest café’s, venture to old town and sail on an abra to the gold and spice souks. There’s a great combination of historical and new along with some of the most iconic sights in the world – including the tallest building. So believe you me, you will have some amazing material for your followers to pour over.
Mina A’Salam Hotel
One of the most popular hotels with a hell of a view.
Mall of The Emirates
Head to the top floor for this capture.
Burj Plaza with the view on Burj Khalifa
You get the best shot from this spot and you’ll see the Opera House too.
City Walk
One of my favourite parts of Dubai. It has graffiti, colourful palm trees and a little London corner with a red phone box.
Enab Beirut Restaurant
You’ll find this quirky restaurant in City Walk.
JBR Beach
To soak up the sun and capture the Marina in all it’s glory.
O14 Tower (The Cheese Building), Business Bay
One of the more unusual looking buildings.
The Walk JBR
Feels a bit like LA and again plenty of colourful graffiti which is nice to see amongst all the polished hotels.
The Courtyard, Al Quoz
A little piece of Italy.
The Desert
Duh…
Dubai Creek Harbour
For the long grass and views over Downtown Dubai.
Dubai Design District
Another cool part of Dubai with art galleries and pretty cafes.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Borderline cheesy but it’s very VERY pretty.
Alserkal Avenue
Up and coming with creative spaces and Insta-worthy decor.
La Mer

And if you are venturing outside of Dubai…
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi
Jaw dropping beauty.
