As I’ve reached the 7-month mark, I am now finding it hard to fit into my clothes. I am lucky in a way that I don’t need to worry about winter layers, but it does get frustrating when certain favourites can’t even zip up a millimetre.
Certain dresses are stitched in panels in order to give a feminine shape, but with an expanding waistline the lines are off which makes majority of my favourites bulks up at the back. Solution? I have been turning to midi skirts as I can wear them above the belly and with a top that help disguise the fact that I probably can’t zip them all the way up.
This Peter Pilotto skirt is extremely flattering as the asymmetric hem gives it movement while the bold print makes the eye focus on something else. I kept the top neutral and chose comfy Gucci sneakers, though this look would match my suede Chloe sandals perfectly. I literally ‘love’ this bag! The block colour panels, LOVE motif and an elegant shape makes it a fun little accessory that goes with anything.
