There’s a cool new way to wear your everyday shirt…
You know you have those dummy moments when you’ve put something on inside out or the wrong way round? Well now this can give you some serious street style cred! The new blog series all about a wardrobe staple that everyone owns (a shirt-just in case it wasn’t obvious) and 6 new ways to wear it, starting with one of the hottest trends spotted on the curbs of LFW last season, a backwards shirt.
Who knew something that’s so wrong can look so right and it works with literally any shirt in your wardrobe, though my tip is to choose a looser silhouettes for a relaxed feel. I wore my fave Topshop shirt (sold out, similar here) with distressed Levi’s (love these) and added a Cluev necklace, which I also turned around as I think it adds a nice touch. For me, this trend is a goody as I love a good back moment and find it so much more appealing than showing off legs or boobs, but maybe not as much as shoulders.
Warning, its not very winter friendly, unless you want to add a roll neck underneath, and most people are not going to get it (you should have seen the looks on Kips face) so I suggest you reserve it for Instagram and fashion week.
Would you try this trend? Let me know in the comment box below and have a wonderful weekend! X
