If someone told me at the beginning of the year that come October I’d still be enjoying glorious sunshine, I would’ve told them to do one. Yet here we are in Dubai where summer is endless and I’m still enjoying tropical prints while my friends in the UK are wrapping up in fluffy coats and chunky knits. Don’t hate me!

For those in the same position as me, or are off on an exotic holiday, this botanical green print should be in your wardrobe. Not only it fulfills my current obsession with everything green, it’s a modern take on the floral print. This whole love affair began when I saw this dress from Dolce & Gabbana and since then every time I spotted anything remotely similar it was sold out, clearly I’m not the only fan!

OTT is one of the brands that I discovered in Dubai and is known for the bold prints and dramatic shapes so when it came to dressing for Fashion Forward (a 3 day style extravaganza of catwalk shows, presentation and talks with the industry experts) this is the first item I reached for. The beauty with a design like is that you can wear it head to toe and it doesn’t feel too much, or if it’s a top/jacket just add a pair of jeans and some sparkly shoes.

I do actually miss my fall wardrobe so I’m excited about heading back to London in November and shooting some wintery outfits. Any trends I should test out?

  1. Oh, I know exactly that dress. Dolce & Gabbana has come out with some incredible leaf print pieces from their Botanical Garden. I have a cutout dress from Zara a couple of years ago with almost that exact print, but I prefer something a little less body hugging and haven’t discovered the right piece just yet. The one you found is absolutely incredible! I mean, it looks so gorgeous and is great inspiration from the D&G collection. I love this piece! You look stunning. I’ll have to check this company out! Thanks for sharing.
