The 70s suede is the fabric of the season and although I have been pretty much living in this suede skirt I have also been looking for a jacket which is close to this Valentino beauty. The burgundy shade is a great alternative to the usual brown colour so when I saw this wrap around number in H&M (sold out but check out Mango) I had to have it! The suede is really soft and I like how you can tie it around for a fitted look, but the downside is if you want to leave it open the belt hangs down to your feet awkwardly and it doesn’t have pockets which I think is essential for any jacket!

Despite that, its pretty easy to style be it with a nice boho dress or a pair of flared jeans, a loose blouse and a fedoraHere I opted for my mini button down skirt from Topshop (similar from River Island) with a stripe T-shirt, these incredible Louis Vuitton boots and (to add to the 70s theme) my beloved Chloe Drew bag.

What do you think? Would you wear a suede coat this season?

  1. Just wow, your coat is seriously everything and we are way too in love with every component of your outfit. So perfect!!

    • Thank you! Its mine too, so happy that it will still be popular this winter too x

  2. The color of this coat is amazing- I love it! I do have a thing about pockets though, so I don’t know if I would wear one without any. I think having a lightweight suede jacket would be good for spring!

    • agree, pockets would be good and I also have a small fringe suede jacket which is a great alternative option x

  3. you look absolutely amazing! I love this modernized 70’s trend of the buttoned skirts and all things suede!
