One of the best things about winter fashion is chunky knits, and a roll neck jumper is a big trend for this season. I’m still on a hunt for THE one (maybe from Max Mara or Polo Ralph Lauren) but for now while the weather is still mild, a half roll neck jumper from Gap (similar here and here) is perfect. When the cold finally sets in I can layer it under a biker or a loose coat and hopefully by then I’ll have my cosy roll neck as a second option!
I find this sort of knitwear looks best in neutral tones and when worn with simple clean lines like tailored trousers or in this case a leather pleated skirt from Zara (similar here and here) it can look effortlessly cool. But I felt like this outfit needed a lift and what better way to do it than with a leopard print bag?! This print is one of those timeless, easily wearable styles that can really bring an everything together and this much loved Dolce & Gabbana bag (similar here and here) has been in my wardrobe for many years.
Heels or this seasons very popular knee high boots would look great with this jumper and skirt, but I decided on my Chanel biker boots (similar here and here) as they give this look a tough attitude with the buckle and metal hardware on the heel.
How would you wear your roll neck jumper?
This look is absolutely sensational, as are the photos. I am smitten with the half roll necked sweater 🙂
I love how you’ve combined this look with a leopard print bag
