For the first look of the year I decided to dedicate it to the beautiful city of London where I had the pleasure of meeting 2016 with my family. If you haven’t had the chance to catch up on NYE fireworks, definitely do as they were spectacular and really made me excited about the next 12 months.

This look was shot in Trafalgar Square which is one of my favourite spots as you can see the Big Ben from one side, the Strand from another as well as the peaks of Buckingham palace if you walk onto the roundabout. I don’t normally shoot in touristy locations, but I’m having a particular nostalgia towards a place I’ve called home for nearly 10 years now. Do you ever get that?

This Gucci coat actually belonged to my mum but she got bored of it and I never say no to a pink coverup! Unlike my oversized Celine number, this one does offer more wearability because of its tailored shape and subdued blush tone. The metallic buttons add a modern touch and the length works well with so many items in my wardrobe. The temperatures have really dropped in London so a wool dress has been my go to (similar from Victoria Beckham) as well as my beloved over knee boots (alternative at ASOS ). I completed the look with a Fendi bag (grey works so well with pink) and clipped on a fluffy Karlito which was a Christmas present from my dad.

Really looking forward to starting my next blog series this Friday! Its about one of your wardrobe essentials and 6 news ways to wear it, new year new ideas. Im also looking forward to sharing the rest of the looks we shot round Westminster last weekend, and the of course we have London Fashion Week to look forward to. Will I see some of you there?

Have a great rest of week, and as always I love reading your thoughts on my looks so please leave them in the comment box below xxx
