There are some items that are destined to be a fashion headliner as soon as they hit the runway: the Burberry Poncho, the ‘Parental Advisory’ Alexander Wang jumper, the Celine sneaker. Mr Riccardo Tisci understands how fashion frenzy works and this Bambi sweatshirt caused somewhat of a mania.

I caught the Bambi bug and literally sprinted to Browns store when I was told they have it in! Never did I imagine that everyone world would be lusting over a jumper but its oversized fit and scuba material with it eye catching print make it another great example of what a designer sweatshirt should look like. I was worried that it will be a one off thing and won’t be wearable the following year but the Bambi is still popular and is one of those iconic pieces that will always have a place in my wardrobe.

The Bambi can be styled in different ways; wear it with a belt and bare legs, sheer full skirt for the evening or leather trousers and bright courts. As its getting pretty cold outside I decided to wear tights and a shirt underneath for extra comfort (a crisp white shirt from either Thomas Pink or Asos are great for layering). Finally I added a pair of suede wedge ankle boots (similar at Whistles and L.K Bennett) and threw on a grey wool coat with a fur collar. Grey is an ideal alternative to the usual black and goes with everything, here are my top picks from French Connection, MSGM, New Look and Max Mara.

Fancy joining the bambina’s? There are still T-shirt’s available at Farfetch (very luxe indeed!) or Selfridges.

  1. Well…I have to say I was not a fan of that sweater when it came out…and…well…I still am not. I do love the rest of your look though. Especially the booties. They look both cute and comfortable.
