Two of my favourite fashionistas sharing all things LFW…
This is one of the best days I had at LFW because I got to spend it with two of my favourite fashion bloggers! While I was still in New York a PR from Sarah Baily approached me about wearing one of her funky handmade leather jackets to the London shows and after seeing that they come in more than one colour and say ‘Girl Gang’ on the back, I had to get Sabrina and Nicky involved. The pictures really capture the fun element of a busy fashion month and I’m so pleased that we got Sabrina’s pooch Coco to do some cute posing too.
I styled my jacket with this draped shirtdress from palmer//harding (the gold and blue works beautifully together) two-tone jeans from Steve J & Yoni P along with stud heels and a mini Dolce bag. I love how Vicki managed to get the building site behind me to look stylish, very Anya Hindmarch!
One of the best parts of blogging is that you get to connect with amazing likeminded people so with that I wanted you to hear from my Girl Gang themselves as they share their LFW experience…
1.Describer your LFW style
Sabrina: I love to dress more in high fashion looks during Fashion month, luckily for me I am able to loan clothes for appearances so I like to wear designers to fashion week, bold prints, fun colours, funky accessories – it’s like playing dress up for me as I am naturally quite a simple dresser with a rock chick vibe.
Nicky: My style is a modern classic, elegant and timeless.
2. What has been your LFW highlight?
S: Sitting front row at the Julien McDonald show and then getting to interview him afterwards about his amazing designs. The show was spectacular, the dresses were insane and Hailey Baldwin looked incredible!
N: Seeing a lot of ruffles, gingham and florals.
3. Any trends from LFW that are on your radar?
S: Pajamas as outer wear, this was my style for NYFW and I saw so much of it in London.
N: Puffy sleeves, the 80s are making major waves and ultra-distressed denim with a rock’n roll vibe.
4. What’s in your fashion week survival kit?
S: Plasters, an external battery charger & Google maps!
N: Flat shoes to wear in the evening and a good hydrating mask to leave on all night.
5. Tips for future fashion week goers?
S: Make sure to remember it’s about having fun with your girlfriends and enjoying the actual shows themselves. Don’t get tied down with where you are sitting or what you are wearing.
N: It’s difficult to give tips but if I can say one thing is to be always open. Be excited and love fashion!
