Style the bump this NYE..
Can you believe we’re reaching the end of 2017? The last few months have all been dedicated to the arrival of baby Lola and on December 14 we finally got to meet her! It’s been an exhausting few days but she’s the greatest gift this year could’ve given us and I can’t wait to introduce you properly.
In Russia, New Years Eve is a family affair where we dress up, set the table with all kinds of delicious treats and meet the new year. I always travelled back to snowy Moscow but the last couple of occasions have either been celebrated in Dubai or London, with our home in the desert being the venue this time round.
I loved being pregnant and having a bump, but dressing it up started to become tricky. After lengthy shopping sessions, wrap styles have become my go to as they give you flexibility of how fitted you want it to be. A satin finish is ideal for evening while a rich colour like burnt orange stands out on any skin tone. I’m a fan of mid lengths and sleeves balance out the proportions well.
Higher heel would’ve added more length to my legs, but for comfort purposes embellished block heel sandals are best. The Diorama bag is another steal from my mum’s wardrobe with a gold shimmering finishing complimenting the shine of the dress.
As another year comes to a close, I hope that it’s been a wonderful one and I wish you all the best for 2018. I am as ever grateful for all your support and love, we can’t wait to share more of our new adventures into parenthood next year! x
