So wrong and yet so right…
Hey everyone, hope you all had a fab weekend! I’ve been dying to share this post with you as it features one of my most desired items for the last year – Dior Fusion Sneakers. There has been countless colour combinations and styles and I’ve been waiting for the most wearable pair, which for me has to be mainly white. Not only are they easier to wear but I also thought they’d be the least offensive to Kip who absolutely hates them!
After finding the only sparkly pair in Europe in my size (clearly it was meant to be) I have been playing around with various ways to wear them. Todays mix and match of contrasting styles has been hugely popular for example: designer and high-street (which I do a lot), casual and chic, dressy and sportswear, the Dior trainers embody these modern day contrasts. Old rules are out, what shouldn’t work does and what is considered ‘hideous’ can actually look amazing. I have tried many things that people have hated but I still stick by those bold choices, what can I say, I’m a sucker for ugly-pretty!
The mesh is super soft while the rubber sole provides comfort that you’d expect from a sporty shoe (FYI, they are not gym friendly!). The beading lifts them from sportswear to high fashion and an added strap for this season is a nice touch. You can keep its simple with distressed jeans and an oversized white shirt, but I’m a huge fan of dressing sneakers up (see my post all about it here) and opted for a mini number from Topshop. You can also style them with wide-leg or cropped trousers as well as full skirts and even maxi’s.
They may not be for everyone but for the fashion craze that they’ve created, Dior Fusion trainers are worthy of attention. What do you think?
