Dubai has some edge…
One thing that’s exciting about blogging in Dubai is that I get to discover new spots to shoot! Granted some are more generic than others, but there are a few gems. For example, there isn’t a great deal of street art like in London, but when we went for a wonder along the Walk on JBR we spotted some graffiti’d walls and stairs so I was keen to shoot with that as a backdrop. This wall is the tamest one, but it was just too hot to walk further down!
I have been a fan of Cecilie Copenhagen ever since seeing her printed pieces a few seasons back and finally buying one of the dresses from Boutique 1. This top is from the new collection and satisfies by summer cold shoulder obsession and I also love the bow detail.
The flared jeans are my faves as they work great with flats and heels, or even a mid-heel like these Chanel sling backs. If you’re a fan of contrasting toe shoes, definitely check out the latest ones from Zara, they look amazing! I have been gradually getting into chockers, I know I’m very late to the party, but they’re still hugely popular for next season so make sure to invest in a few and start layering them together. Finally the PR team have kindly let me borrow this Loewe bag for the shoot and I really love the gold hardware with the black, it looks classic but fresh at the same time!
Thanks for checking it out and have a fab week! x
