Think light fabrics and cut out details…
It’s the prettiest print for the sunny season and if you’re looking to add some fresh blooms to your wardrobe, scroll below for the best floral dresses to shop now.
I’m a fan of this print as it comes in such a wide variety. From boho washed print, to botanical blooms on evening gowns and micro floral on vintage inspired dresses, there is a style for every mood and even for the most un-girly of girls. Flowers don’t only look good as a full look but clash perfectly with other bold prints like plaid, leopard and stripes.
I’m always drawn to the cute feminine style and the Tory Burch SS17 garden party collection is one of my favourites from the designer. The light fabric makes it ideal to wear in the summer heat while the cut out details on the shoulders add to the laid back holiday feel. When choosing the best dress for sweltering temperatures, opt for loose floaty silhouettes and look out for any other open details like cut outs on the waist or open back. Green and pink with tones of white is one of the sweetest colour combination so I kept the accessories in tone by styling the dress with the Gucci belt and Hermes slides. Straw bags are such a huge trend this season and if you’re still stuck for the perfect one for you, check out my roundup here.
