Treat yourself before getting on the plane…
[dropcap]Just[/dropcap] in case you didn’t know I’m one of those nervous flyers who, although loves to travel, hates being stuck on a turbalent piece of metal for hours. Every noise and shake the plane makes plunges me into moment of brief fear where I literally imagine the worst things happening. I’m not as bad as some who can’t physically get on the plane, but if you get the jitters too I suggest you read Allen Carr’s The Easy Way To Enjoy Flying.
One part of the journey that I do enjoy the most is the Duty Free beauty section. Think it’s safe to say that we all fall into the trap of buying more cosmetics, fragranaces and skincare products at the airport than anywhere else purely due to the fact that it’s a little bit cheaper. I always stop by MAC and Bobbi Brown for makeup but most recently I’ve been looking to update my daily routine.
I’ve heard great things about SK-II and the Facial Treatment Essence is one of their latest releases promising not only to give your complexion a boost of moisture (which we all need after a long flight) but also renew skin cells. I’ve used Chanel beauty range before and it’s one of the nicest smelling serum’s out there that aims to deliver youthfulness to your complexion. Finally, I’ve been looking forward to buying the Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion cream after reading rave reviews from various websites and bloggers. For me it was important to find a cream that has some oil in it as it’s crucial for deep hydration that gives your skin that dewy glow rather than a greasy finish. I’ve been using it for a week so will let you know how it goes.
My holidays are now done for the next few months as we approach the baby due date so make me jealous with all your travel plans in comments below! And do share your favourite Duty Free skincare brands x
