Brunching in style…
Hey guys! Sorry for the digital silence last week, but work has been stressful and I also needed a screen break before the fashion month kicks off! Do you guys ever take a holiday from social media? It was nice but I also missed interacting with you all, so what better way to get back into it than telling you about our lovely brunch on Friday!
I’ve heard great things about Anantara on The Palm so was excited when they invited me host a little bloggers Fork & Cork brunch at Crescendo. Joined by Dana aka Dee4Dana, Sai of The Sand Gypsy and Heidi from Doll in the Desert along with their friends and partners, we embarked on a 4-hour culinary journey. I started with sushi and oysters while others went State Side and indulged in waffles, fried chicken and corn dogs (which by the way are delicious!) Everyone’s taste is catered for including freshly made pasta, Thai food, an array of salads as well as a good old roast dinner. With all the amazing choices you have to pace yourself and leave room for dessert. After a little breather, we all marched in line to the Mad Hatter themed dessert counter for cakes and brownies that The Great British Bake Off would envy! To top it off, you also had ice cream, popcorn, rows of fruit and a huge variety of cheese to choose from.
I opted for this cute Alice McCall playsuit from S*uce and paired with block heels and a mini Chanel bag. You already know how much I love the colour blue, but it was the pretty lace detail and the tassels that caught my eye making this romper stylish and playful. Finally, I have to mention the awesome group shot above taken by Noorhan, total #squadgoals!
